At Project HBCU , we are dedicated to creating a supportive community that serves as a second home for students in California, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, and beyond. By fostering youth leadership, college access programs, enhancing civic engagement, and commitment to community service.

Our Solution

College Access Preparation Program (CAPP)

  • Our College Application Preparation Program provides personalized guidance to help students explore HBCU options, complete college and financial aid applications, and secure scholarships. We support students in every step, from crafting compelling essays to preparing for interviews. Through tailored mentorship, our program equips students with the confidence and resources they need to successfully apply to college and embark on their academic journey.

Community Service/ Civic Engagement

  • ProjectHBCU Civic Engagement

    At ProjectHBCU, we empower students to make a positive impact in their communities through active civic engagement and leadership. Our students participate in community service projects, learn leadership skills, and engage in initiatives that address local needs. By connecting them to the rich legacy of HBCU activism and providing mentorship, we inspire students to become socially responsible leaders. Whether through organizing community events or leading service projects, we help students turn their passion into action, fostering lifelong civic responsibility and change.

Youth Leadership Program

  • The ProjectHBCU Youth Leadership Program is designed to empower the next generation of leaders. We offer students hands-on opportunities to develop leadership skills through workshops, mentorship, and real-world experience in community service. Our program connects students with HBCU alumni and community leaders, offering them valuable insights into leadership roles and civic responsibility. Recognizing that college may not be the preferred path for everyone, we offer programs focused on trade skills, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness to help students succeed in various professional arenas.
