At Project HBCU , we are dedicated to creating a supportive community that serves as a second home for students in California, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, and beyond. By fostering youth leadership, college access programs, enhancing civic engagement, and commitment to community service.

College Access Preparation Program (CAPP)

  • Our College Application Preparation Program provides personalized guidance to help students explore HBCU options, complete college and financial aid applications, and secure scholarships. We support students in every step, from crafting compelling essays to preparing for interviews. Community Service/ Civic Engagement

    At ProjectHBCU, we empower students to make a positive impact in their communities through active civic engagement and leadership. Our students participate in community service projects, learn leadership skills, and engage in initiatives that address local needs. By connecting them to the rich legacy of HBCU activism and providing mentorship, we inspire students to become socially responsible leaders. Youth Leadership Program

  • The ProjectHBCU Youth Leadership Program is designed to empower the next generation of leaders. Research indicates that comprehensive support programs, which include personalized advising and financial assistance, can significantly improve college graduation rates for traditionally underserved students.

HBCU Success

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) play a crucial role in producing Black STEM professionals. Despite representing only 3% of U.S. colleges and universities, HBCUs produce nearly 25% of Black graduates with STEM degrees.
